I’m a mum of two, wife of one, and very proud to be part of the 11.24 Unity CrossFit team! I’ve been doing CrossFit since 2013, having been mainly a track and field athlete and long-distance runner prior to that (with a sprinkling of gymnastics in my youth). Fitness has always been a huge part of my life; it really is a privilege to be in the position to provide this amazing community training space for our members.
Having trained through two pregnancies and the new mum aftermath, my main focus is to provide a space where pregnant and post-partum athletes can continue to safely train with their Unity pals and feel supported by our dedicated coaching team throughout their individual experiences. I’m also super-excited about our CrossFit Kids classes and seeing the next generation of Unity members grow up fit, strong, and with a healthy mindset towards health and longevity.
Outside of the gym, I have my two children and large dog to run around after – I also have a full-time job in compliance, which is not fitness-related, though I’ve managed to convert most of my colleagues to CrossFit! I’m a Cross-Fitter, music-lover, cake baker, amateur gardener and love nothing more than a good crossword in my spare time. That is when I’m not at Unity!
