Week one of our back squat cycle is in the books ๐ค
We started strong, it will be so amazing to see where this block takes us! ๐ซ
The first week of the cycle is all about testing our baseline one rep max to see where we are at. We then use the rest of the cycle to work on improving technique to enable us to move weight well and generally maintain our wellbeing later in life. Who doesnโt want to still be able to stand from sitting when they get older? ๐ค
Itโs all about that long term health and mobility – we are training for our future selves! ๐ณ
We also have our weekly Olympic lifting classes starting on Friday 3rd October with Coach ๐ช๐ป
The focus will be on the three components of snatch, clean and jerk, with the first three sessions being light and technical to make sure the right foundations are in place.
