⛷️ DODDIE AID 2026 🌟
The first 5 weeks of 2026 saw 31 of our Unity community take part in Doddie aid 2026 in support of to try to raise funds to beat MND.
Our goal was to ski the width of the Sahara desert🏜️ , clocking up miles on ski ergs only with a distance of 1800km to achieve! Our team put in the work and finished with nearly one week to spare! More importantly we raised over £2000 for the charity through generous donations💙
A special shoutout to who this time last year hadn’t even touched a ski erg and who notwithstanding being our most mature participant, clocked an impressive 22 miles and finished in the top half of the leaderboard 🤩
Some further shoutouts to and all of whom bagged over 100km each 🙌 So impressive 🏆
Well done to everyone who took part and a huge thanks to everyone who donated 💵 Same time next year (but perhaps on a different machine?! 👀)
